Cybersecurity awareness in 2026: People, AI and insights from Tussa
Cybersecurity starts with people. And as technology continues to evolve, keeping people informed, aware and prepared has never been more important.
As part of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, we’re speaking with our partners about the cybersecurity challenges organisations are facing and what matters most in today’s rapidly changing technology landscape.
Meet Steinar Hauge, Marketing Manager at Tussa IKT. We asked him to share Tussa’s perspective on cybersecurity awareness, the rapid development of AI, and the role strong partnerships can play in helping customers strengthen their security. Here's what he had to say.

1. Why do you believe Cybersecurity Awareness Month is still important in 2026?
Cybersecurity Awareness Month is still relevant because cybersecurity starts with people. Many security incidents still begin with a human action, decision or mistake. Awareness is important every day of the year, but a dedicated month gives it an extra boost.
As technology and AI continue to develop rapidly, awareness and digital judgement become increasingly important for everyone, from employees and managers to executive leadership and boards.
Building knowledge and awareness makes businesses of all sizes better equipped to prevent and respond to cyber threats and will therefore always be an important part of cybersecurity.
2. What is the biggest cybersecurity challenge your customers are facing today?
One of the biggest challenges our customers face is keeping up with the rapid pace of technological change, particularly within AI.
New tools and services are being introduced all the time, creating new opportunities as well as risks. At the same time, cybercriminals are using AI to make scams and phishing attacks more convincing than ever, and for rapidly finding and exploiting new vulnerabilities.
3. What do you value most about your partnership with SamurAI by NTT Security?
The partnership with NTT Security allows us to offer a more comprehensive security service to our customers, combining local support and advisory with advanced security monitoring and expertise.
For our customers, this means that they have access to the right resources and support when it matters most.
4. How does our partnership help you create value for your customers?
Our partnership with NTT Security allows our customers to gain access to specialised analyst expertise and local support.
